We invite you to come out to the library for two exciting Delaware Humanities presentations in March and April 2020.
In celebration of the 100thanniversary of women’s suffrage, Mike Dixon will present his program, Voters at Last: Battling for the Ballot, on Thursday, March 5, 2020, at 7 p.m. This lively program presents the history of the expansion of suffrage, with particular attention paid to women’s suffrage in Delaware.
If you’ve been wondering about some of those family heirlooms found in the trunk in your parents’ attic, Those Alluring Accessories – presented on Thursday, April 2, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. – is for you. This new presentation by Karen Jessee combines history, humor, and fun to help you learn about some of the lovely things you see in museums, antique stores, and as family treasures.
For a complete listing of all programs, please pick up a copy of the winter/spring program brochure. Registration is requested for all programs. Register at the Reference Desk or call 302.328.1995.
