Donate Goods
The New Castle Library Friends welcome donations of gently-used books for our book sales. Donations may be left next to the elevator at the library.
  • Books Only: all fiction and non-fiction genres.
    Books must be in good/"gently-used" condition:
    • Covers/Jackets in-tact
    • No page discoloration due to water, mold or smoke exposure
    • No missing pages or sections, and
    • No (or minimal) annotation.
  • No Encyclopedia, Periodicals, Digests, or Textbooks.
  • No DVDs, CDs, books on tape or other media.
  • Blank/Empty Journals Accepted.
  • Drop-off Limit of 2 bags/boxes at a time without prior arrangements. Please email us to arrange for larger donations.

We also collect large, wicker baskets for our Raffles, which can be dropped off in the same place.

Monetary contributions to NCLF go directly to helping us maintain and improve New Castle Public Library, and support its great staff. You can donate to NCLF securely online using our page on Delaware Gives.
